The 2025 Edexcel A-Level examinations have officially commenced with the participation of a large number of students.
A total of 4,427 candidates are sitting for the Edexcel A-Level examinations this year. Of these, 2,879 candidates are from schools in Malé, while 1,458 candidates are from schools across the atolls. In addition, 82 private candidates from Malé and 8 private candidates from the atolls are participating in the examinations.
The examinations are being conducted at 48 centres across the Maldives.
These include 42 schools in the atolls, 4 schools in Malé, and 2 centers designated for private candidates
