The Maldives participated in the Asia Regional Meeting on "Developing a Commonwealth Credit Transfer Framework: Micro-credentials in a Digital Age".
 
From April 14 to 15, this meeting taking place in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, is organized jointly by the Commonwealth of Learning (COL), and Asia e University, Malaysia.
 
In this two-day consultative meeting, the Maldives is represented by Dr. Ahmed Mohamed, State Minister of the Ministry of Education, and Education Development Professional, Fathimath Shinaz Moosa.
 
 The main objectives of the meeting include sharing findings from studies on micro-credentialing practices at the Commonwealth level and working towards developing a practical credit transfer framework.
  
The outcomes of this meeting will help develop a framework that applies across the Commonwealth region. Additionally, it will pave the way for strengthening the capacity to enhance the quality, accessibility, and transferability of educational systems.
