A total of 955 scholarship slots are now open for Maldivians to pursue studies locally and abroad under the programme to train Allied Health Professionals.
The scholarship opportunities are being offered under a presidential pledge to train 1,500 professionals in the allied health field, with the aim of addressing the growing demand for skilled technical professionals in the Maldivian healthcare sector.
The programme aims to strengthen healthcare services across the Maldives by increasing local participation in the health sector, reducing reliance on foreign professionals, and creating more employment opportunities for Maldivians. It is also expected to support the development of a skilled local workforce and improve access to quality healthcare services across the country.
Further information on the available scholarship opportunities and the application process can be accessed through the Kuri portal.
