A three-day workshop titled “Climate Change Competency Framework for Educators (C3FE)” was conducted by the UNESCO Regional Office for South Asia in collaboration with the National Institute of Education (NIE), Maldives.
A total of 24 teachers from schools in the Malé area participated in the workshop, which aimed to strengthen teachers’ capacity to deliver climate change education through the development and piloting of teacher training modules aligned with global and national priorities.
The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Nafissa Insebayeva and Dr. Gio Miole from the United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS), along with Abhinav Kumar from the UNESCO Regional Office for South Asia.
